We had an AWESOME 4th! We had a BBQ with some friends at the house, then went up to D.C to watch the fireworks. To me the awsomest thing about living in Maryland is that we have the opportunity to be in our nations capitol on the 4th of July!! The 4th is probably my favorite holiday and there's nothing better than sitting with friends and family watching an amazing fireworks display with patriotic music playing and feeling the concussion from the fireworks in your chest!! The picture with an "extra Browne Towne" is a girl from church that was so sad the her parents said they weren't going to go to the fireworks so I told them she could go with us. We did get rained on which makes it three years in a row now that we have been rained on for the 4th. That also means we are expert "going to get rained on" packers. I brought a roll of trash bags and made trash bag outfits for all the kids (sorry no pics of that)
Gerrit loved this umbrella and played with it the whole time we were there. He even had it when he was sitting in my lap watching the fireworks (which he LOVED)

Look at you guys, like six little pieces of a mormon puzzle. Your kids are too cute, love the bows. I was lame on the 4th. All I have are old navy shirts from three and four years ago.
Your kids are darling! We have to get together when ya'll are out in Utah in August!!!
